190 transit >> 225/70R15C fitted with 215/65R15C tyres?

Hi realise the speedo wil be wrong

but this guy is getting rid of some 215/65 R 15C Michelin Agilis 51 and i thought i would fit them and just drive them.

anyone else put tyre other than 225/70R15C on the smiley???

As long as the weight rating is the same or about the current tyre you should be ok, I think the 190 225/70/15 is 110 rated,
The other thing to keep in mind is it will mean your van is lower geared and mk5 190,s are normallly fitted with a 5.14 diff and are already a bit to under geared for much over 55mph unless you drive with ear defenders :lol:
