Injectors

Postby Maltesefalcon » Mon May 27, 2019 12:21 pm

Hi Guys,
I have a 12mm plunger injection head and I am confused between 28935 or 33710 which I am going to put in my engine to improve performance. Any recommendations ?

The 33710 are the superseded version of the 28935 they were both for 100ps but the difference is the orifice size. I am sure the 28935 is 0.225 and the 33710 is 0.208. Both have 5 orifice. I am also looking for some of these as my 100ps seems to have 70 ps injectors. Either way for what your doing either should be fine.

Also you don't mention which engine you have I have just assumed from the codes you have given that you have 2.5 turbo engine?

Later 33710 97(?) onward, are RSM type injectors - a sort of early mechanical pilot injection system - the pump ramp rate/curve is different to suit.

Hi Jim,
I am going to use a Ford pump with an Iveco 12mm plunger head and a turbo boost compensator of an Iveco. My only issue is which type of injector I have to use .

I know that there is the 130 ps injectors which are for marine engines.
