1995 2.5 TD100 Auto Autosleeper motorhome

Postby Stefan13 » Sun Aug 11, 2019 10:10 pm

Hi there,
I'm a new person here.
My problem is:-
I am a amputee disabled driver (right leg amputee) that bought a Transit 1995 2.5TD automatic Autosleeper motorhome and had it converter to a switchable accelerator pedal.
I don't know if you are aware that to the original accelerator pedal an extension can be welded so that a normal person can use the van with the right foot, but as in my case, when I lift the accelerator high into the underneath of the dash, down pops another pedal to the other side of the brake pedal so that can drive it with my left foot.
The problem is that the person that did the welding never bothered to dismantle the two electronic component attached to the pedal and because of the heat, damaged the components.
I can start the van but the engine will not rev at all.
I managed to get a partial part number, but it is only partial!
What I need, if at all possible, is that if anybody has a surplus pedal from a conversion from auto to manual or ... if anybody with same transmission as mine .. could possibly forward me a photograph of said pedal with visible part numbers.
If anybody can help, I will greatly appreciate it!
Many thanks.
Stefan

99% sure I have a standard pedal for it.

The auto and manual pedals are the same except for a little sprung pin (a detent for kickdown) which can be swapped over. You need a 94-97 pedal, the later ones are different.
