Hi can anyone please help me find the name of a workshop manual for a

MK5 FORD Transit Van with a Petrol 2.0 DOHC 115hp 4pot 8 valve engine (02/99 VIN WFOLXXBDVLXC08676)
the engine has 327,000 ks on it and would like to have the manual to research for when i need to work on her.

Also can anyone advise me if the engine with the ?

VIN wfolxxbdvlxe220581 out of a MK5 1999-2000 5 speed manual with a dohc engine petroll (Im persuming this is a UK made model)

Could be put into my

Both built at the Southampton plant in the first quarter of 1999 for the Australian market. Engines should be identical.
Drink moderately, eat healthily, exercise regularly, die anyway.

The ford engines will all fit they were pretty much left the same throughout the production run .
The VW engine could I suppose be made to fit but although it is a very tough engine it is pretty old fashioned compared to the 2.0 dohc engine and has lots of small electrical faults as well and drinks the fuel oh and only 84bhp

I don’t know if the Haynes transit manual has the petrol engine in but Sierra or Granarda should have

Thanyou for the replies everyone i didnt end up buying the VW T4 it was a real wreak when i went to look at it - BUT i did bye the 2.0 DOHC 115hp 4pot 8 valve engine complete with new alternater and had the gearbox and clutch included , and got it for $500 aud so very happy with that so now my daughter will have lots of spares or a complete spare motor if her 1999 petrol van dies ect so thanks again. Im abit worried i have abit of a addiction to these transit vans now. I love my 1997 2.5 turbo diesil which did have an engine light on and would go into limp mode but i have that sorted must of been either a bad earth or somthing to do with the old batteries since i put 2 new batteries in and fixed a headlight never ever Come on again im so happy. I love and appreciate all i learn on this forum and the help advise you guys give thankyou Tania

Get an lpg conversion and a big tank in the back and it will be cheap as chips to run as well , compared to the turbo diesel it will be very quiet and just as ecomical to run about9-11 litres per 100kms

Not logged on for a few years, but for engine manuals and wiring diagrams you will find them here http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl
I have a 2.0 dohc had it for about 12 years now and still loving it. Took to Norway for a few years and the calcium chloride mixed with sea water has ravaged it. Welding it up once more.

Not quite, no. WF0 is the world identifier and Cologne being Ford's European headquarters means European Fords all carry that identifier (or WF1). The 7th and 8th characters contain the actual country code and assembly plant code, so 'B' tells us it was from Great Britain in one of Ford's own facilities and 'D' tells us it was assembled in Southampton.
