NSJ gasket set

Postby 2007bluelwbshr » Thu Sep 05, 2019 5:25 pm

I hope someone can help. A friend in Australia has a '99 mk5 with a NSJ 2.0 DOHC 8 valve engine. I am going there on holiday soon and he wants me to source a complete gasket set for the engine he is rebuilding, and take it with me. Can anyone suggest a source for this? I'd really appreciate some direction as my local motor factor has no listing and the local transit specialist recons it's too old to carry stock. Thanks in anticipation.

Loot can you offer any other suggestions?
I got this reply.........

"Can't seem to find one single kit to do the complete engine so here are the numbers I have come up with,

Head gasket Ford 95WM6051D2B, ELRING 027.860 or 1101405.

Engine gasket kit upper less head gasket Ford 95WX6014AA, ELRING 447.180 or 1011780.

Engine gasket kit lower (oil pan, crankcase) less head gasket Ford 95XX6013AA ELRING 445.290 or 1010432.

The gasket kit upper from Ford is described as a rebuild kit, it may have the oil pan and crankcase gaskets with it. I couldn't check as I couldn't find a picture of the kit contents. That is the only concern as it has to include the valve seals and the plastic inlet manifold oring seals, not a gasket. Perhaps the kit has both."

I've passed the numbers on to the local motor factors who have checked and found the upper set is obsolete.
Sort of stuck here. :(
