De-icing inside of windscreen?

Postby vanfox » Mon Dec 16, 2019 12:01 am

Not having a heated screen what can I use to de-ice the inside? I've run out of old credit cards to scrape with and I'm womdering if anyone has any better ideas?.....besides having an Eberspatcher engine heater installed!

On eBay you see ceramic heaters advertised plug into cig lighter for scraping the windows I use a body filler plastic tool
One bad winter I put fan heater in the works van plugged into a outside socket I could turn in the house

Can't you buy ice scrapes at every petrol station?

the best way to stop it happerning get a sock and fill it with cat litter prefably unused and leave it on the dash board over night it sucks all the moisture out of the air thus no moisture to freeze or you can bye de humidifiers to do the same job
