Red hot balls in the sizzling in the ears and for that matter red hot balls in yer baws aint no laughing matter, go gas and just bĺock out any wind where your workng , remember patching requires continuous weld around the patch ,but replacing certain parts/panels can be spot weldedTimelourd wrote:No such thing - MIG stands for "Metal Inert Gas" so you're talking about Flux Cored, which is only good if you can separate each piece from the workpiece. If you try to used Flux Cored under your van you'll get broadsided by a calvacade of red-hot cannonballs to the face, ear and body.
You'll also be trapped under there, breathing in the most vile smoke ever to come out of a welder.
