Problems between 2000-2500 rpm

Postby Illi1981 » Fri Jun 19, 2020 7:44 am

Good morning, i was finally able to drive my camper after a year. the engine jerks in the partial load range. Can that come from the downtime? I installed another egr last year. I didn't have that before. I have now fully fueled the car. the jerk often comes at 2000-2500 rpm. Otherwise everything is as before, the engine runs with full power. It starts immediately, I couldn't see smoke 100%. The engine is rocking while I have the injector corrected with lucas laser. It got a little better. I am still reading the error memory. Greetings from Germany

Try changing the fuel filter with a good quality one and take it for a run to get the old fuel through the system.
Maybe fuel system treatment.

Yeah after sitting for a year I would give it a good run for a few miles and see if things settle in.
