How much did they charge per joint?
Just curious because I also recently got one refurbished and paid £120 for a single joint and was just cross checking if the price was ok or high :D

They told me worst case scenario if they did all joints £250.
HOWEVER

Got a call lunch time to say it's totally knackered, the slip yoke splines were seized and when the got it apart the splines were twisted, in effect like a screw, it's what's caused the centre bearings to fail so quickly & buggered the U/J's, they have sourced me a brand new complete prop & should have it on Tuesday, eye watering price but it's a working van, got to do it.

This hope they've got you the correct prop, a mk5 lwb 100 is quite a rare van, so its a 5 stud axle, the prop needed, is specific to the 100 lwb, most lwb are ether 150 or 190 6 stud single wheel and they use a different axle and distance from front of axle to gearbox is different

100 do you mean horse power, became if its 6 stud 15 inch wheels that was only available as a 150 weight or a 190 weight, if its 6 stud 15 inch single wheels as you say thats the more common prop, number on vin tag top right is the one

Sounds like a decent prop, how much was the eye watering price and who was the company who supplied it?
