What oil for my Di?!

Postby Boycie » Thu Oct 13, 2005 6:08 pm

Hey guys!!

Wanna give the old girl a service before it gets too cold out there!

What oil should I use in my Di (it's a banana one)?

Thinking about Vaux semi-synth 'cos I get it cheap through work!

Cheers,
Boyce :)

If you go for semi which is probably your best bet you want 5w30.

5w30 is fully-synth if I buy it from Vaux IIRC!

comma super d 15/40 changed every 6000 miles, used this for years in all of my diesels, never had one burn a drop on this stuff yet, lot of balls told about which oils to use, i buy 25l at at ime for 27 quid, my brother once got some castrol magnatex for his pug diesel 25 quid for 5 l, do you think he or his engine noticed a difference, of course not!
