Dash lights not lighting up

Postby JohntheFish » Tue Feb 23, 2021 3:35 pm

Hi I am having trouble with my smiley when I turn the key to position 2 the red battery and oil dash warning lights are not lighting up. At first it wass only doing it here and there but now nothing. I assume it's a realy somewhere but I have tried the black ignition relay thats under the dash in the fuse box but it seems to be working fine and also there's a yellow relay in the black box under the bonnet above the battery that I thought it might be but I have removed and tried it and it works fine.

Are these even the correct relays to be checking ?

You may have a faulty ignition switch, it's quite common :(

Thanks Chug from Tring (small world)!

Problem solved now it turned out to be the ignition relay after all.
