Turbo conversion oil feed fittings.

Postby bigg1115 » Sat Apr 10, 2021 8:07 pm

Hi guys.

I'm currently collecting turbo conversion parts for my 2.5 di banana.

I thought i had everything. But upon checking the oil feed pipe. I realised I don't have the small connector which the pipe would bolt to when removing the bung under the exhaust manifold.
(Hope that makes sense lol).

So have no way of bolting the oil feed pipe to the engine block.

Could anyone point me to where I would get the fitting from?

Or how people manage to feed there turbo with oil .

Thanks everyone.

I think most people fit a tee into the oil pressure switch fitting coz the bung under the exhaust is a pain to do, but a quick search suggests it maybe 1/4 npt?

Catcar says the size is 14mm x 1/4, part number 6518104

This part is available on eBay from Ford (expensive), but you should be able to get the part from anywhere with a good range of hydraulic or plumbing fittings. Take the bung and the pipe with you to get the right match.

If you could point out anywhere that sells the adaptor that would be great - I haven't been able to get hold of them for a long time.

Not sure if the 1/4 is BSP or JIC (I suspect the latter)
