Ford transit will not start when warm

Postby salvatoreguzman » Mon Jun 07, 2021 2:59 pm

Sal från Sweden here.

I have a housecar that i built on a Ford Transit Turbo 2,5 lit. 1993

Now I have a huge problem with it.

When it is cold or has stood unused over winter it start right away. No problem, but
When it is warm and i have been driving for och while and I stop at a petrolstation It will not start.
I have a trick then, i grind it and pump the accelerator Sometimes it starts but if i have bad battery it will not.

I think I have a electronic fuelpump. I have no underpressure in the tank. Was before.

Please help me.

Thats unusual

I would start by checking the resistance of the coolant and intake air temperature sensors... to check they are in spec
