The push rods bent, and frequently the rockers snap too - is this what you mean?
After you replaced the components, did you set the valve clearances?

Sorry yes the push rods bent I adjusted the valves before trying to start
4 rocking adj 1
3 rocking adj 2
1 rocking adj 4
2 rock adj 3
is the above correct way
