Advice sought or mk3 bonnet

Postby F343dvr » Fri Aug 20, 2021 5:39 am

Alright everyone

After some sound advice confirming my 190 to have a mk3 bonnet I'm looking for some help or friendly advice in either trying to source a new hood or until that comes around find any kind of advice in a makeshift repair as its killing my ocd at the minute. I was thinking of whether there's some kind of bra to atleast hide the damage? Anyone ever used one?

Here's a picture of the failure.

I would just use some filler to patch it up until you can find another bonnet, I did the same on one as bad as yours as a temp fix and it was still good 3 years later when I took the van off the road for spares.
