Hi,
I'm looking at buying a '92 automatic diesel transit motorhome with a couple months MOT left on it.
Last year it failed for it's 2 tyres, majors on wheel bearing and brake imbalance, but also had 3 advisories
- Integral body structure is corroded but structural rigidity is not significantly reduced (6.1.1 (c) (i))
- Offside Rear Vehicle structure is corroded but structural rigidity is not significantly reduced area marked yellow (6.1.1 (c) (i))
- Nearside Rear Integral body structure is corroded but structural rigidity is not significantly reduced outer wheel arch (6.1.1 (c) (i))
It also had advisory for being covered in Under seal which wasn't on previous MOTs
When it passed through MOT two of the three advisories had been sorted leaving
- Integral body structure is corroded but structural rigidity is not significantly reduced (6.1.1 (c) (i))
As it doesn't specify the location like the other two fixed advisories, would this imply roughly in the centre? or could it ultimately be anywhere.
I also find it weird that two advisories advisories for corrosion were fixed yet this one wasn't... not sure on the reasoning for that one.
