Could someone tell me my code .It is a ford 3000 fitted to a smiley 2000 year the code on the radio is Serial no M044098 part no 97fp-18K876-LA or direct me to somewhere legit that I can pay a small fee and retrieve it

HI!! Hope maybe someone can help me...
I bought a 97 smiley with the 3000 traffic radio, and since I bought it the radio was asking CODE.
I was cleaning the van today and find this on the drivers side below the seat belt column.


So I tried the code, and didn't work...
Can be radio was changed ? Or is this another code for another thing?

You need the Serial number off the unit , begins with M , then you can get the code for free..

In the sticker I found it says : M000434
Also says UNIT TYPE : FD 3000...that means the 3000 traffic radio?

So I took the radio out finally…and the serial number of the radio is :

M015222

Thanks so much ! (The sticker must be from the original radio unit, and at one point was changed for this last one..)
