Weren't the MK4s around the time of Ford using Blaupunkt? I remember I had one in my Mk4, but I think I put it in there because mine had been taken out when I bought it second hand so can't be sure what the original was....

Mine has the power amplifier mounted under the radio. I do like the older motors.

I just did another search. This one (photo) is being sold as from as '93 Cougar on ebay and looks the same as the one I could just make out in a brochure photo of a MK4 dash I saw in a Google search?

Hopefully Matt will find his brochure and confirm!

I must have got that '88 one from one of my old man's weekly visits to a car boot sale lol!

I realised it may be possible to find this another way - and what was fitted dependant on date

https://ford.7zap.com/en/transport/82/n ... 330/75113/

so it appears mk4 radios were

2001
ESRT 32PS 515
SRT 22M 415
ESRT 22DPS 770
ESRT 32PS 775
ESRT 22DPS 750
ESRT 32PS 775

Have fun :)
