Postby Kevin Hawkins » Mon Dec 20, 2021 6:34 pm

I have just had my Pinto engine reconditioned and the Weber carb is nearly new . The van has just passed the mot but smoke pouring out of the exhaust, the water level is ok, it starts and runs ok. Anyone have any advice , this campervan is in great condition but can I get the engine right

What color is the smoke? Does it smoke all the time or when on the throttle or full throttle?

Does a Weber carb have a max fuel adjustment?

When you say just reconditioned, has the head been retorqued after initial running?

What colour of smoke are you getting? Is it blue, black or white?
