MK3 - MK4 wing

Postby liamcole007 » Fri Apr 22, 2022 9:39 am

Hi!

Have an old mk3 85 91 - unfortunately wings ( both sides and lower door seals has rusted beyond the point of repair! I'm curious to know if mk4 wings would fit on a mk3 and how are they fitted onto the vehicle, presuming bolted?

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

They are welded on.

The mk3 swage line is different around the front of the wing and the wheelarch is narrower.
The mk4/5 will fit but not be correct

You will have a gap to fill between inner and outer arches
Not tried 4/5 wings on a mk3 myself but that's what I understand

carbodypanels4u.co.uk are listing mk3 in stock but they are £100 each
