But you will have much smaller brakes on the rear, and the axles arn't rated as highly. You may have problems with the insurance company with fitting worse brakes...
(Front hubs can be swapped straight over retaining the larger front brakes)
There is a reason why there are different hubs/wheels/tyres etc fitted to the bigger vans.
You *might* do better with a mk6 rear axle. It would need adaption to fit but has 5 studs and (model dependent) equivalent brakes
