Hi all.
Thanks for adding me to forum.
Question is…. Mk5 2.5TD (lucas epic) blanking of the EGR valve.
Do I blank both flange faces of the unit?
If the EGR is removed the assembly becomes loose so I am assuming that I may sandwich thin plates between flanges with gaskets.
Would this be best solution?
Any help please.

Just slip a blanking plate at the exhaust manifold end, job done
