1999 smiley lock problem

Can anyone help me with a 1999 smiley problem , central locking won’t stop lock/unlock cycle , had to remove the fuse to stop it

does it lock/unlock once or keep cycling over and over?
the 100 custom i had many moons ago did it, as in lock/unlock the once, was always dirty contacts on the sliding door. at least it didn't honk like the mk7.

Keeps cycling lock unlock till I pull the fuse , I will try cleaning up the contacts on the sliding door
