Clutch & Flywheel Cost

Postby MinorMatt » Mon Jan 30, 2023 10:56 am

Gents

Being well out of the loop on the mk7s....

But what (as a ballpark figure) would one expect to pay for a flywheel (I assume its DMF) and clutch replacement on a 2010 RWD Mk7? I believe its 120PS.

Basically a friend is looking to buy one thats coming up for sale in the summer and it needs a new clutch. He can either get it done, or use it as a bargaining tool.

Are the SMF conversions on these sensible? In the early days I was hearing a few horror stories but not so much recently
