Usually no internal valve damage.

A rocker or 2 might be broken and in my experience,5 push rods will need straightened out.

Make sure when timing up you get the hole in the flywheel that goes all the way through when pinning it.

I have started the strip down to replace the cam belt and have discovered 2 broken rockers and some bent rods,is the disassembly of the rocker shaft straight forward or is there anything I should be careful of? Also as the belt snapped is the retiming of the cam/crank etc easy to sort out? thanks

Just make sure you pin the hole that goes right through the flywheel.

There's 2 at 180 degrees to each other.
One is blind and one goes right through.

Rocker shaft for spares (just in case).

Stripping is straight forward.
