ford transit 100s van H-D 1995

Hello.
New here.

And new owner of a F Transit van 100s.

Recently after a drive for approx 40 min. Parked for 2 hours. Restarted and started to drive and 4-5 min into the drive the truck stalls!?

All lights and dashboard seems not to be affected. Everything is on.

The van just stops driving. No power at all and I had to roll to the side.
Plenty of Gasoline on.

Towed the truck back home. Wanted to move it a bit into the right parking. Put it into 2nd gear and turned the key to make the truck jump just a bit forward.
After this I tried to turn the key one last time. And the truck started again.

Parked the truck for the night. When I returned to the truck the next day, I tried to start it and nothing. It was trying but no start.!??

If anybody has an idea of what to look for and can share it here I would appreciate it.

petrol or diesel?
if petrol its possible the carbs icing up.. if diesel check the stop solenoid wire is connected tight

It is a petrol.


He starts up and a few seconds after starts to hiccup....almost dying......coughing .....It feels like something is up with the petrol/Benzin flow...

Otherwise he is in good condition.

Does any one know where to "catch" a Haynes repair book on this model. I only seem to be able to find it for a diesel.
