mk3 cabin transit diferencial, same as normal mk2 diferencia

Postby trashpanda » Mon Feb 19, 2024 2:52 pm

dead everyone.
I have a whinny rear dif on my mk3, and i have a mk2 that was destroyed in a fire, but i'm guessing the read dif is still fine, the mk2 is a high roof but doesn't have double wheels on the read, the mk3 is a cabin with double rear wheels.
Would i be able to fix my diff using the mk2 diff?
kind regards

They will be different the twin wheel will be 6 stud wheels and the single wheel will most likely be 5 studs there was some 6 stud single wheel but I think from memory that they were narrower then the twin wheel axel if you can put some photos up it will give a better idea of what you have

If your van and the donor have the same number of wheel nuts (either 5 or 6 stud) they will be interchangeable but if not the internals definitely won’t swap over.
