New engine swap.

Postby Dawsie » Fri Jan 24, 2025 9:43 pm

Ive ran a boa in my mk4 for about 10 years. Great fun but now bored of it .

I fancy going back to derv.

Do I go for a banana di or something a bit more exotic like an om605 from a merc with a manual pump from diesel pump up in York.

Has anyone mated a om605 to an mt75 .

Ta.

Your going to get bored of a DI/TD quite quickly (but if you go that route I have a TD conversion set).

The BMW M57 engine is common in mk6/7 and people have started fitting the M47 (I think) to smileys
Lucas Laser 2000/IDS
95 Pre Production DRW TD Highcube
95 Hallmark
96 150 100PS LWB Hi-Top
96 Autosleeper Duetto
06 Mk7 (scrap)
09 140PS T330S 2.2

Gaffa tape is like the force, it has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the universe together
