Hi there.had my transit 2.5td for 14 years.need help to get it out of limp mode.thanks

Got transit mk5.stuck in limp mode.its 2.5td.tried various things but cannot solve.any help would be appreciated

You need to get the codes read by someone with appropriate diagnostics.
There are hundreds of reasons it could be in limp - so it needs to be narrowed down a bit!

Had the codes checked and cleared. The rear plug on the back of the fuel pump has been removed, cleaned and returned. The battery has been took off, left overnight, and returned. In the Derby area, any local advice or help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

If its in limp there will be codes... so tell us what they are?
