Diesel heater fitment - OK to cut fuel lines

Postby mk3_wrc » Mon Sep 22, 2025 5:12 pm

Fitting a diesel heater to the van, is the flow pipe OK to cut (which is it likely to be...?) just as it comes from the tank (without needing to drop the tank). Somewhere between the tank and the loops:

Will fit a NRV as close to new T/Y piece as I can.

On both my x BT vans they were teed in to the main fuel line if you trace the fuel line from the lift pump under the van you will see it enter the tank I think the pipe is joined just in front of the tank as it comes in two pieces if not cut it there and fit the tee

That picture is just forward of the fuel tank from the lifter so ill splice there and just put a NRV on each side of the T.
Thanks
