Hi everyone,

I have recently done a bosch conversion on a 1997 2.5 td,

Engine starts perfect, is a bit noiser than before but that is to be expected, the main issue im having is it is probably 1/3 down on power compared to the epic (when not in limp mode lol)

When fitting the pump i did advance it about half of the pin hole 4 or so mm.

Is there anything else that can be done to get a bit more power out of it, particullay noticeable between 2 - 3000 when the turbo should be in full swing

Turn the fueling up :wink:

To increase turbo engine power across the entire RPM range, increase the cyclic delivery, or "fueling," as they say here.
To increase power at low RPMs, which adds a special driving pleasure, you need to tighten the hydraulic corrector screw on the pump's mushroom cap.
I have a homemade turbo engine and two high-pressure fuel pumps—a regular Bosch 144 and a turbo Bosch 154.
And the rear axle is from a 2007 car with a very "heavy" gear ratio of 3.31:1.
A regular Bosch with the hydraulic corrector screw tightened is much more enjoyable to drive.
