Rear wheel cylinders

Can anyone give me an idea on what rear brake cylinder and shoes I need for my mk5 1996 transit 100 with 14" wheels. I think the physical size is the same it's just the bore size.

We could give you a part number but the site we go to "carcar.info" isn't working correctly.

This is the sub-section for your van (when it works)

The body of the cylinder is visibly different between the 14" & 15" types the 100 has the smaller type also the smaller shoes

The wheel cylinders on all mk4/5 are the same with the exception of the bore.

Its almost impossible to tell what the bore on one is... there is no definative "this model has" all I can say is trends.

Most SWB are the smallest (20mm) bore

Most 150 SWB and 100 LWB are (22mm) bore

Most LWB have 24mm bore.

In reality it doesn't matter that much what you have, but if you want them to match side to side.
