Banana engine coolant leak after new water pump

Hi,

I have a 1999 for transit bus, fitted with a 2.5 banana engine. Noticed a coolant leak at the back of the water pump, so I changed the water pump and timing belt. However, I still have a coolant leak. I think it is from the flange pictured. Is this likely and how do you even replace the seal?

Water seams to deep from the area at high revs.

I installed a new gasket too. I'm pretty sure the leak is on the other side of the engine block, where the exit pipe is. It's an absolute pig to access.
