rusty 'S' reg transit

Where can you get the panels for a 1998 Transit SWB 120, the panels I need are the strengtheners that run between the chassis legs (where handbrake cables go through) and also the rear panel behind the step.

It looks like someone has seen they were rusty and has torn them out, even leaving holes in the floor !

Any tips on doing this job & where to buy the panels from ?

Any help greatly appreciated !

If you are going to attempt the weldin yourself get the vehicle as high as possible at the back, that way you can sit up under the van rather than having to lay down.

I had to do my back valence etc in the summer, not something I would want do do this time of year!

the front sections near the handbrake, if i am not mistaken and am thinking of the right parts, are not very special at all and you should be able to knock something up nice and easy as for the other panel if you cant buy one and making it is too hard for you, then find a scrappy with one in and carve out the whole back end, then carefully remove the spot welds, and voila ... you even have a spare valance panel for when the misses backs it into the garden wall

yeah i think it is- mine's not too bad a couple of large plates should do the trick!!
