What about the heater matrix Mark? Could it be leaking?

i have seen this on a few if its a high top the seal strip above the screen sometimes leaks....but most of them usually leak because the metal under the plastic cover at the bottom of the screen has rotten.water runs down the screen and under the plastic to the drain but the drain blocks and the water rots it...only found this by someone running a hose over the outside and you sit inside with the carpet out and you will see the water running down from somewhere....

both mine and my dads hi cubes have the same problem i dont know why mine is like it but i know why my dads is, back in august he had a windscreen on his insurance thru rac, what a bodge, to date we have had 13 replacements  the best bit is that they are tinted screens as well, they are screaming for the excess to be paid, but all the time the screen leaks it aint getting paid :D the guy who is going to paint my van reckons that leaves and crap get behind the plastic trim on the bottom of the screen, and it slowly rots the metal beneath :?

Also one to check is top of the spring mount in wheel arch as there is sometimes erosion here so when you drive in the wet the water gets thrown up and forced into the van footwell, tell tale signs are the rust "dribble"! lines down the wheel arch and foot well.

problem is it only does 70 flat out, drinks twice as much fuel as mine, speedo doesnt work, windscreen is still leaking, no back brakes, not insulated like mine so will be freezing trying to sleep in the back of it. still better than walking i suppose

ha if u sit in ya van when raining u can here rain driping in side the door panels in the front lol and i think it makes the step well rot if u look where a triangle is with 3 screws if u take it of thay are usly roten there . just cut a pice of steel and than tack weld it but dont screw it back on cos i think the 3 screw holes startit roting so i just got some ruber seal and stock them like that.
so theres a tip for ya :)lol
