Had to "modify" the front plate
the early ones it appears have a slot that sits over a peg to hold the pump in line with the bolt holes on the front case, the one i have doesn't so i removed the peg and it fitted
Now to the new question can i fit a banana Di from an L reg without to much hassle? i can't find an early Di in london or herts for love nor money but i've been offerd a soon to fail the MOT big style L reg compleat and running for £200
Are they ECU controlled? just don't want to get the dam thing back on the road with the least amount of work
