Spare wheel cover

Hi friends.

I'm trying to find a rear door spare wheel cover but all the ones I see are too big.
I've tried FleaBay.
My wheel is 8" deep by 26" diameter.
Lockable if poss.
Can anyone help please?

You're gonna strugle to find a hard plastic cover of that size. Will a vinyl one not do?

theres a swb mk3 camper around worthing with a fiamma box bolted to the back door and he stores his spare wheel in there but i think those boxes are very expensive

Mines on the back door but I've ust chained & padlocked it on so the wheel/tyre is open to the elements.

Hi Guys, just noticed this thread,

Had a few e-mails about this so here's some info about what i did to get it to fit.

The spare wheel cover i made from a Vauxhall frontera wheel cover,but i had to cut about three to four inches off the end of the band as it was too long.
you will also have to make new slots in it so the locking mechanism works and cut the centre (blue bit on my van) down by the right size too.

The bracket for holding the wheel to the door is from a Suzuki vitara (1988/1996) model.
I used two inch square steel plate about 3mm thick as washers to spread the load inside the door,after three years there is still no sigh of any
cracks so all seems to be fine.

The bracket will need the vitars bolts cut off and new bolts welded on to the transit stud pattering.

The ladder is home made out of 19mm round bar and a b&q pipe bender.
