Transit vocabulary problem

My 2.5 Transit diesel (1992) is with me in Sweden. Parts are prohibitively expensive here but I have a source in the UK. I need new front suspension... that is I need the shock absorber for each wheel and (here's the vocab problem) the rubber cap that sits on the shock absorber. In Swedish it's called a ''fjäderbenslagring'' and in French it's ''coupelle d'amortisseur''. Can anyone tell me the name of this part in English. Thanks!

Do you mean the compressable rubber washers.
Or do you mean the plastic cover that hides the top of the shock absorber inside
Or even ....the bump stop

The French teacher I had never taught us any car part names
But I've just been thinking, if it's the compressable rubber washer which have metal washers either side of them, you'll be glad to hear that they are supplied as standard with a new shock absorber along with a new locknut

I'm guessing your after the suspension strut top mounting.

The compression rod goes through the middle of it and attaches to the mount with the lock nut, the mount is then secured to the wheel housing with the 3 studs and nuts.
