M reg jeater matrix in me mates van needs changing, is it hard one or just bleeding fiddly?

To do it properly, the dash needs to come out and then undo the heaterbox, the matrix will then slide out.

I have seen people just undo the bits and force it out, but tbh the whole job can be done on a non A/C vehicle in under 3 hours if you pull your finger out.

The hardest part of it is undoing the couplings on the heater hoses.

Cheers mate :) me mate never noticed the clamps on the hoses leading to the heater then moaned he had no hot air :roll: doh! :lol:
