anyone know anyone on here with a 17 seater i can ask for insurance??

i thought my licence only let me drive up to 8 seats but been looking on the government web site
and i can drive it with the 17 as long as its only personal use that was good news.

thanks

Nearly right

You can drive it so long as its not for hire or reward and the max gross weight is 3500kg or less (which yours is)

You also have to be over 21 and had your liscence 3 years or more.

You will be looking at specialist minbus insurance im afraid. I think we used to get the fleet at uni insured with footman james or AoN (who are now the same company)

minibusclub was the cheapest but for 17 seats its gonna cost me £670 a year
or 6 seats it will be £300 and for something i'm only doing 1000/2000 miles
a year looks like the seats are coming out
