Di Engine Number Location??

Where's it situated on the block?? I have found the Ford finis codes on the injector pump side of the block and then written near to that - 02M84. Is that the engine #?

on a di the number is stamped on one of the ribs running front to back passenger side of the block, in front of the engine leg & up a bit, behind the timing cover. to read it shine it up with some abrazive paper.
35 years of driving,repairing,sleeping in transit's lovin every minute.
