one of my rear wheel studs snapped, ive managed to get the snapped bit out the hub when i was changing the brake shoes, i didnt have the new stud at the time so couldnt fit it, whats the best way to get the new one in?? strip the hub again or will it fit in just by taken the drum off again, its a mk5

You should be able to jiggle it in just by taking the drum off. When you've got it lined up pull it into the hub with a wheel nut and some washers or spacers. Put the nut on backwards so the flat side is against the washers.
