side exit exhausts???

hi does any body kno if fitting side exit exhausts to my p reg 2.5 diesel cause me any problems with back presure? or any other problems ? thanks bruce

well i fitted some patriots to mine - i love them to bits but when i looked at fitting them on my mk4 they just wouldnt fit the mk4 was so much lower between the wheels they'd be scraping speed bumps but on the mk1/2's they fill the gap nice

My mk5 has side exit exhaust probably due to having wheelchair lift on rear.I think the tipper transit also has side exhaust ,my local tyre and exhaust had it in stock anyway.

I've bought a side exit for mine, but it'll fit in front of the silencers,
so am seriously worried about it being deafening.

hey thanks for thr replys very nice transit bye the way im just puting 4 chrome pipes out drivers side just before the rear wheels pics will follow very soon wen i can remember how to do it
