axle ratios

Hi All...

I was reading the for sale board and came upon the following:

He means that you have the desirable, and much sought after 4.11 rear axle ratio
They are sought after, as they give a higher cruising speed, than the higher ratio axles fitted to the majority of Transits :D

I am on the market for a transit for the second time. The first time I ended up buying a citroen relay 1.9 which was pretty good bar the obvious underpowered plant.
So thats gone and I am now lurking on the for sale board again :)

Question is, how do you guys determine a van's axle ratio?

viewtopic.php?f=31&t=10363 or from the tag on the axle or from the Reg\VIN on Ford's ETIS Site.

Ah ok... I am quite tempted by what looks like a mk5 1999-T reg
its an 80swb semi high roof with twin SLD's

reg is T625KGA.

Anything I should keep an eye out for?

The twin LSD are useful to me as I spend most of my time on the continent, and I want the 2.5d as it seems to be so over engineered.
