Mk 5 Front Wings / Arches

I have a Mk 5 transit which has had a replacement o/s front wing fitted, but now the wheel arch has started to rust away . Is it possible to replace the wheel arch with the wing still fitted or does it need to be removed first.

Hi,yes you can leave the wing on and either,grind out the rust and repair/fill and then repaint,of buy a replacement arch and fit as either a over arch or cut out the rotten one and stitch weld in the new one.I normally cut the worst out then lay on as a over panel,weld as required then fill to contour and repaint.
