76ps Banana Upgrade Bosch Pump

How simple is it to upgrade a 76ps Banana with Bosch pump?

Is it just a case of fitting a 145 or 146 pump and different injectors (ie; 100ps or 115ps)? Is it absolutely necessary to change the pump?

I presume the fuelling will have to be adjusted afterwards?

dont know if a pump and injector change would do anything as you need more air into it as well as more diesel , go on get a turbo , you know you want to

Can you put a turbo onto a normal 2.5 di banana motor ? are there many things to change aside from the exhaust

How about a supercharger? Plenty of grunt to drive it..

My van had the bananna engine (and still does)

it now has a 145 pump with 33710 (brown spot 100PS) injectors with a turbo and turbo manifolds - its certainly a lot quicker!

You dont absolutely need the 145/146 you can use whatever pump you have, but if you put turbo injectors in without a turbo there is no way it will pass the mot smoke test
