Coupla questions

Postby zanderman » Fri Feb 19, 2010 6:50 pm

Anyone recommend something to clean the gluey remains from signwriting? It didnt look too bad but now its dirty its looking pretty iffy.
Also trying to remove the double passenger seat and one of the bolts seems to be a countersunk thingy, any ideas how to remove it?
Looking to get some heating in the rear but cant afford an 'Eber' heater, any other ideas as dont have a missus or a dog!
Have always had company cars and when they needed fixed I just gave the garage my credit card, when you have to do it yourself its much more expensive and stressful. But at least its my own van!!

I've got an eber D1LC that I need to test and I will sell that for £150 + post.

The only other sensible option is a gas powered heater such as a carver cascadre etc.

You could get heating in the back when the engine is running by plumbing in a radiator in the back

uPVC solvent cleaner is superb at removing vinyl gunk

Nip down your local window company, shouldn't cost more than a fiver for a litre bottle.

There is a citrus based remover available from Vinyl suppliers, orange something I think. Works a treat and then get it mopped...Will look new.
