Alternator ... Which one?

Postby StuartB58 » Tue Feb 23, 2010 12:41 pm

I'm having a problem with the charging system. The ignition light flickers when running not just tick over. Would it be ok to fit a 95amp alternator, the van does have twin batteries fitted. (Mk5 2.5td automatic)

Thanks in advance,

Stu.

p.s. belt tension ok.

Yes it will be fine. The batteries won't be affected by the capacity of the alternator.
