Pump swap

If i change the epic pump for a bosch will i lose performance? I have been told that the van will drive as if there is no turbo, surely it wont make much difference as long as the bosch delivers enough fuel.

From what I understand, fitting the correct Bosch pump should give you good results 
Ford Transit 120 TDI EPIC Automatic. 0-60 in a leisurely and smooth 12.7 seconds and 1/4 mile in 19.1 seconds. Now where's all these faster? manual Di s?
