got a w reg 2.5d swb tranny for the last few months or so its bin rough in the morning smoking quite bad its more like greyish smoke and when i let foot off accelrator when coming up to a junction etc its blue smoke its not too bad when warmed up but the last couple of weeks its got worse if i hold revs about 1500 to 2000 revs there are clouds of smoke and its white/greyish and its very lumpy running mot is due soon and wondering if its an injector or something worse oh and mileage is 190k with fsh

Blue or greyish smoke generally means worn piston rings, valve seals or valve guides. Get your cheque book out :(

when was it last serviced with proper oil.. does it use any oil??

i have my name on a van but it wont be available for a couple of months i did an oil change last week i have done three oil changes a year since i got it it had a fsh with it i dont do 7000 miles per year it uses very little oil really i use magnetec oil in the van just need get it thro mot next week just til i can get new van

Sounds like the timing and belt need checking, followed by the injectors :)
